Another Chance for Basics Training Class 11/19/24 - 12/17/24

Class Description: Whether you’re new to the basics or need a refresher, this class offers a lifestyle approach to training from a behavioral perspective. You’ll learn new cues and how to apply the ones you already know in real-life situations. For example, focusing on each other in distracting environments, settling in various situations, greeting people appropriately, and walking calmly on a leash.

You and your pup will learn when and how to integrate these cues into your everyday life, making them practical and useful rather than just tricks for treats. Training not only addresses your current challenges and needs, but it also provides enrichment, mental stimulation, strengthens your bond with your dog, and—best of all—it’s FUN! 🐾

• Five 1-Hour Sessions: Work with Shir, a certified behaviorist with expertise in behavioral science and pet nutrition.

Criteria for enrollment: While your dog will not be socializing or interacting directly with other dogs, instruction will take place in a class setting. Therefore, your dog must be reasonably comfortable being around other people and dogs in a group environment.

Age requirements: All ages are welcome, from puppies to seniors!

Vaccination requirements: Dogs must be up-to-date on their Rabies and Distemper / Parvo vaccinations and free of any contagious conditions.

Class schedule: Tuesdays 11/19/24 - 12/17/24 from 7:30 PM - 8:30 PM

Cost: $395 for 5 classes. You must register for the 5 weeks. 1 week's cancelation before the first class is required or you will be charged in full for the class.
